Crystal was certainly on display at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, as several celebrity guests were wearing it. Jada Pinkett Smith’s husband Will took home an Oscar, and she wore a complimentary radiant gold strapless gown that shimmered as it was draped with Swarovski crystals. The silk chiffon cape lingered, as though to let our eyes readjust to reality. Incidentally, Will has been known to shop in more casual Dolce & Gabbana wear and he looks fabulous in a basic black T-shirt.
Tiffiny Haddish was radiant in a chartreuse green gown with a crystal-encrusted bustier and bugle-bead skirt. This glimmering look was nuanced by a thin, yellow scarf thrown around her neck and draping down her back.
Halsey went with a less enchanting, but no less striking, look. Her Dolce & Gabbana point d’esprit and lace gown with gold-encrusted chain detailing helped her achieve a bold, defiant look that pleasingly pushes fashion into the future. The outfit also accentuated her tattoos.
Marlee Matlin in gold radiated glamour in a paillette long-sleeve gown with crystal embellishment neckline while Kourtney Kardashian wore a silk gown with lace and Swarovski details. Finally, Mindy Kaling wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana yellow draped gown with a crystal mesh bustier that showed off a sublime contrast, emboldened by the symmetrical line of demarcation.

Country-pop sensation Kelsea Ballerini performed at the Country Music Television Awards in an aquamarine sequin dress with cutout details and matching eye shadow. Meanwhile, Carrie Underwood arrived wearing a purple and black animal-print sequin mini skirt with a slit, accenting her ring’s magnificent purple stone and her nail polish. She also took home the award for video of the year, though it was not purple.

Christian singer Dante Bowe appeared at the 64th annual Grammy Awards in a custom double-breasted tuxedo with black derby shoes. Tiffiny Haddish, after rocking Dolce & Gabbana at the Oscars, brought that high style back to the Grammys. Her glossy orange geometric silhouette jacket called for attention while the asymmetrical black buttons echoed her tights, platform heels, and dark sunglasses.
Bleu Vandross, or Yung Bleu, brought out an exquisitely matched top and bottom combination. The black silk shirt with mid-level placket gives way quite suddenly and vivaciously to a pair of leopard print jacquard trousers. Paired with a string of pearls around his neck and a pair of red D&G logo loafers, Bleu’s outfit was both daring and confident.
R&B and soul singer Kali Uchis combined bold with traditional in a silk mocha-colored chiffon dress with lace-up corset detail and high heels. While the top echoed the somewhat romantic era of the corset, the bottom was perfect for her Marilyn Monroe-esque pose on the red carpet.
Tiesto and his wife, Annika Verwest, were blissfully decked out in D&B and made for a sleek and stunning couple. Tiesto wore a gold and black lame jacquard Sicilia-fit suit over a black tuxedo shirt and gold derby shoes, speckled with stones. Annika wore a complimentary black tulle gown with floral embroidery and a bustier with exposed boning. The floral embroidery of her dress was a perfect companion to Tiesto’s jacket’s almost paisley pattern.

DJ Kahlid was presented with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and he was well dressed for the big occasion. The music star from the Crescent City was decked in salmon from the jacket with wide peak lapels to the silk shirt underneath to the sneakers.
